This specific item is installed via clip-on installation, so no drilling is required for the flares' installation. However, if you'd like a more secure hold, you can use the enclosed screws to install them via bolt-on installation-- whichever you prefer! Fender conditions may vary, so we encourage you to refer to a certified installer for the flares' installation.
